Inspired by the Japanese tea ceremony

Tea ceremonies date back to the 12th century when Japanese monks, having spent time in China’s great monasteries, returned home with precious tea leaves. The tea ceremony became common practice in the 16th century thanks to Sen no Rikyu, a great tea master.
